When you use Loclarity, we collect the product names or URLs you enter. These queries are cached server-side in a small SQLite inference cache so that common products don't need to be re-inferred on every request. The cache stores the text you entered and the resulting inference, not personal identifiers.
Your IP address is used for rate limiting to prevent abuse of our API. It is stored temporarily in memory for this purpose and is not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.
We use Anthropic's Claude API to infer what a product does from its name or URL. Queries sent to Anthropic include the product text you entered. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they process that data.
We also send search queries derived from your input to Lazada and Shopee (Thailand) to find local substitutes. Those platforms' privacy policies apply to the data they receive.
Outbound links to Lazada and Shopee include affiliate tags. If you purchase through these links, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
We do not require accounts, and we do not collect names, emails, payment info, or other personal information beyond what's described above.
We do not set cookies.
